The 30th edition of the Tour Auto Optic 2000 will take place from 19th to 24th April 2021. The 200 competitors will start from Paris to finish in the south of France. Entries are now open but, beware, the number of places is limited!
The 30th Tour Auto Optic 2000 will celebrate this year the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta and the Jaguar MK II (read the article). Competitors entered with these models will automatically benefit from a hotel upgrade as well as various advantages to be discovered in the coming weeks.
Two registration possibilities are still offered: Competition and Regularity. Let us remind you that now the oldest cars have an advantage in both the categories. Indeed, only cars homologated before December 31, 1965 may compete for the general classification. The others will be able to claim the different class victories according to their period, G, H or I.
We still receive a lot of entry files but this year, in order to offer you the best possible experience, we intend to reduce the capacity of each section for a total not exceeding 200 entries. The work of the Selection Committee, to ensure the diversity of the fields while respecting the limited number of entries, will therefore be even more difficult than in previous years. Thus, we would suggest filling up your entry form at your earliest convenience.
The reduced rate (€ 10,800 instead of € 11,500) for the registration of a car and its crew will apply this year until December 15, 2020. The final registration deadline is February 1st, 2021. As every year, the entry fees include the hotel accommodation – 5 nights in a twin or double room from April 20 to 24 inclusive) and catering for two people (breakfast, lunch, dinner) from lunch on April 20 until brunch on arrival on April 25.
